Very happy to have this piece in the exhibition until September 3rd at Chapel Gallery, Ormskirk, Lancashire.
The paper is made from dandelions, the enemy of gardeners. I cut out the design from the formal gardens at Versailles and infilled the paths with graphite, the gun-metal shiny colouring referencing war. The work concerns the constant shift of boundaries between our activities and the natural world
